As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the whirlwind of events, conversations, and heartfelt moments that have come with the release of The Heart That Found You. It has been nothing short of incredible.
Over the past several weeks, I’ve had the joy of visiting bookstores and libraries to share the story behind the book. Each reading, signing, and conversation has reminded me of why I wrote this story in the first place. I’ve met so many wonderful people who have embraced the book with open hearts, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has shown up, reached out, or simply taken the time to learn more.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been hearing your stories. So many of you have shared how you connected with the themes of family, identity, and love in your own lives. Your messages, emails, and in-person conversations have meant the world to me. They’ve reminded me how powerful storytelling can be when it sends the right message.
I’ve also been moved by the thoughtful reviews on Goodreads and Amazon—each one feels like a little gift. And the press support has been beyond anything I could have imagined, from a feature on KTVU Fox 2 News to recommendations in School Library Journal and a variety of online magazines and blogs, including several holiday gift guides.
With the events of this launch season wrapping up, my focus now shifts to spreading the word even wider. I’ll be leaning into marketing efforts, continuing to share the book with new audiences, and building on the wonderful momentum you’ve helped create.
